Got some waypoints you'd like to share?? Upload them here.

Please include in your description what file format you are uploading. If possible try and use GPX format, as this is an open standard format for sharing waypoints between different applications. The latest version of oziexplorer now supports GPX format for waypoints and tracks.

You can find out more info about GPX at http://www.topografix.com/gpx.asp

Wedge Alternate Route

ALL

This is an alternate trip from Lancelin to Wedge avoiding the bombing range.  It adds another 15k's onto your trip from Lancelin but helps stop you from becoming a casuality!

Track notes are on Pg 117 of the Western 4WD'er (58th Edition Autumn 2006).

The Hill River Natmap is accurate for this series but the CALM 50K series (193623) shows some innacuracies in the waypoints.

Cheers ...

Richard.

Warren River

ALL

This trip takes you from Pemberton to the ocean meandering through some of the country around the Warren River.

Trip notes are on pg 73-74 of "4WD Weekends out of Perth" (2nd Edition) and each Wpt in the file corresponds with the waypoints on pg 72 (ie. 7A in the book = 7A on the file).

Cheers ...

Richard.

Cervantes to Lake Indon

ALL

I've been to most of the places listed on the waypoints but never had a gps with me!  Here's the trip that starts from the Cervantes BP Station and ends up approx.1km south of Eneabba.  It's a great trip but if you are going to do it in the winter beware of the beach section as it can be quite treacherous.

In this waypoint file Batavia1 equals waypoint 9A; Batavia2 equals waypoint 9B etc.

For a full track description see 'Trip Notes' (pg 91-92) in the 2nd Edition of "4WD Weekends out of Perth".

Have fun!

Richard.

Down Nannup

ALL

This is the waypoints from the "4WD Weekend out of Perth" (2nd Edition).  The article is on page 52 of this book and it has track notes from page 58-60.

PLease note that there is no track to d/l so if you want to see the track you'll have to drive it yourself.

;)

The waypoint number (eg. 9A) corresponds with the waypoint number found in the book on page 58.

Have a safe trip!

Richard.

D'Entrecasteaux East

ALL

A variety of Oziexplorer track files of the South East region of the D'Entrecasteaux National Park. Including Heartbreak Trail, Callcup Hill and the Yeagarup Dunes.

A Stunning part of the country.

Please note that some of these tracks may be seasonally closed and some may possibly not suited for Softroaders. Callcup hill is very steep and soft and once down there is no way back up, ensure you have low tyre pressures.
