Welcome to CampingWA

Brrrrrr...by now most of you are likely to have your heaters on trying to keep warm. Welcome to Winter!! For those brave enough to venture out and camp with a crackling fire and a billy boiling, now would be the perfect time! A favourite camping spot of mine with the family is Dwellingup. Lots of grassy areas to pitch your tent/camper with ready made pit bbq's awaiting those toasting marshmallows. Don't forget to take along your Cobb and practice some of those yummy receipes that fellow members have listed on the forum. Take a look around our site and you'll find some taste tempting receipes to have a crack at, out in the bush. Better yet, got a favourite Cobb receipe to share? Tell us...here on CampingWA.

For those not brave enough to venture out in the cold, but still want to head away with the upcoming July School holidays (4th July to 19th July) why not head North! I am in the planning for doing just that, we are looking to head up to Kalbarri or maybe even further to Coral Bay. Pending accommodation of course, places to stay are booked way in advance for that beautiful, warm part of Western Australia.

Have an interesting camping story? Come in and tell us your adventures, we all love to read on who's been where and how big that fish was, that got away! :)

Here are a few websites if your looking for that perfect spot to take the family or yourself this winter...

www.takeabreak.com.au

www.streetsofperth.com.au

www.totaltravel.com.au

If you have any ideas, contributions etc...let me know here on CampingWA.net

Anyway that's all from me for now, stay safe and enjoy your Winter Escape!

Happy Camping

Kath
